C.R.M.C Cadwell Park 2010
We again entered John Woods in the G.P 1 500cc class on our works bike where he again rode his heart out for us with three solid top ten finishes.
We are chuffed to bits with this – and we know he will only improve with time – it will take him maybe a season – but Woody is now starting to now get the hang of racing a big single after years of racing two strokes and big parallel twins.
The standard of the competition at the sharp end of G.P 1 500 is so good these days that you are not going to get near the front unless bike and rider are top class – but you do not get to be a multiple British Hill climb champion and road race winner without big balls and lots of talent – John will get there in the end.
We would like to congratulate the entrants and riders who have dominated G.P 1 500 this season, and watching the season unfold has inspired us to try and up our game to become a part of it.
John has won many awards for his racing and Hill climb exploits over the years – but I know his most treasured of awards is the annual world famous Shelsley Walsh Hill climb outright motorcycle lap record – lets hope that together we can get some more silverware for the groaning Woods trophy cabinet…
We would also like to congratulate john on him securing the C.R.M.C 350cc post classic championship after a tough season – well done mate.
We are already looking forward to next season – with several changes planned to get us nearer the fast guys - so orders have been issued to get the special k out and get out on that pushbike...

Congratulations to Mark Hansford:
Riding the New Heath Motorcycles/Minnovation Racing Seeley MKII G50 - on winning the Bob Newby 500cc pre 72 Specials class championship at his first attempt.
Mark is a relative newcomer to the sport and has been slowly improving since obtaining competitive machinery - the speed & reliability of our G50 motor and his total consistency have got the job done.
Well done Mark we are proud of you - we are commited to helping you take it to the next level - and with a full program of CRMC events planned for next season we look forward to 2011.
Donnington Park 13-14-15/08/2010
After watching the 500 class closely over the past couple of seasons, we decided that if we were going to compete we had better get a decent rider - and so we were very happy to enter this event with our good friend John Woods of JWR (CRMC 350cc post - classic championship leader) as rider - sadly my days of being able to run top 10 in a CRMC race being long gone...
John had a steady learning weekend with some good top ten finishes, he has never ridden a 500 before so we were delighted with the results.
We are confident that we have a good bike, because for John to be able to get our engine up amongst the whippet like front runners with his considerable weight disadvantage must mean that we have a fast engine...
Welcome to the team John!
Unfortunatley at this meeting we were all saddened to hear of Lea Gourlay's terrible accident over in Ireland. We consider Lea to be one of the fastest men in the country - period - on any bike, and we wish you a speedy recovery - Get well soon - Classic racing needs you.
